Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking to hire a veterinary cardiologist.
Working Hours / Rota
The ideal schedule for this full-time or part-time position would be four weekdays with rotating Saturdays, and specific doctor hours remain open to discussion. The hospital is open 24 hours, seven days a week.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinary cardiologist will provide specialized cardiology services within the hospital and must be board-certified or residency trained. This role is open to experienced candidates.
Practice Details
The hospital is a 25,000 square foot facility with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. It offers a wide range of diagnostic capabilities including onsite MRI, CT scan, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, echocardiography, electrocardiography, arthroscopy, thoracoscopy, laparoscopy, and I131. The hospital is AAHA accredited, and its specialty disciplines include anesthesia, behavior, cardiology, critical care, emergency services, dentistry, dermatology, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology, surgery including minimally invasive surgery, and advanced interventional radiology.
Team
The team consists of over 50 DVMs and specialists supported by an experienced support team of over 200 employees, fostering a collaborative environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
