Introduction
Our client is a 24-hour emergency, specialty, and general practice hospital seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Anesthesiologist to join their dynamic and multidisciplinary team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, providing world-class care and collaborating with a wide range of veterinary specialists.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing advanced anesthetic care to patients across multiple specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, emergency and critical care, neurology, cardiology, and more. The position is open to both board-certified and residency-trained anesthesiologists who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, mentoring interns and students, and contributing to clinical research and continuing education within the veterinary community.

Practice Details
This 28,000-square-foot hospital is equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment technologies including CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, echocardiography, digital radiology, laser surgery, and endoscopy. The hospital houses advanced facilities for intensive care, internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, cardiology, rehabilitation, and dentistry with digital dental X-rays. It also offers comprehensive general wellness services such as preventive care, pain management, and senior wellness programs. The hospital supports a strong teaching and learning culture with specialty and rotating internship programs, as well as opportunities for clinical research and professional development.

Team
The hospital employs over 30 veterinarians, including specialists in internal medicine, surgery, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, cardiology, radiology, dermatology, avian and exotic medicine, behavior, and rehabilitation. The current anesthesiology team works collaboratively with eight DVMs and a highly skilled support staff in an environment that fosters teamwork, education, and excellence in patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
