Our client is an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital located in Little River, South Carolina, seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their progressive and compassionate team. This full-service small animal hospital provides exceptional care for dogs and cats, blending advanced medical treatments with a personal, community-focused approach. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with weekends currently reserved for urgent care services. The urgent care schedule typically consists of 12-hour shifts every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday), with the option to add weekday or additional weekend hours to create a full-time position. There are no overnight, on-call, or holiday shifts, allowing veterinarians to maintain a healthy balance between their professional and personal lives.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of urgent but non-emergency medical cases, providing compassionate and efficient care for patients in need of immediate attention. The role includes performing physical examinations, interpreting diagnostics, developing treatment plans, and managing minor surgical or wound care cases. The ideal candidate is an experienced veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced yet collaborative environment, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, and communicates effectively with clients and colleagues. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
