Job Description

This hospital is a progressive exotic/avian and small animal hospital in search of a full-time veterinary Medical Director with excellent communication skills and a love for mentoring. They are searching for a confident, compassionate, and highly skilled Medical Director to join their healthcare team. You will be free to utilize your extensive diagnostic capabilities since their team members are highly trained and are used to their fullest potential. They are looking for a self-starter who is dependable, energetic, and willing to teach, learn, and excel. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent client service skills, and a high level of communication skills are required. They see small exotics/birds and dogs and cats. Their practice has a special interest in Wellness, Dentistry, Diagnostics/Imaging, and Avian and Small Exotic healthcare. With over 4000 active clients, their practice provides a bond-centered environment that is exciting, fast-paced, and professionally challenging while maintaining their focus on client service and patient care. Through the use of ultrasound, endoscopy, radiology, multi-model anesthetic monitors for every patient under anesthesia, and extensive orthopedic and soft tissue capabilities, they provide excellent care for their patients.
