Job Description
A unique opportunity is available for a board-certified or residency-trained Specialty Medical Director at a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital in Norwalk, CT. This leadership position allows a motivated Veterinary Specialist to transition into a role overseeing the medical direction and quality of the hospital while continuing to practice. The hospital is equipped with advanced technology, including high-quality ultrasounds, endoscopy equipment, and CT, and offers a variety of specialties, including Emergency & Critical Care, Oncology, Cardiology, and more. The role provides full support from a Regional Medical Director and field team, ensuring a collaborative environment. This position is ideal for individuals eager to mentor, provide exceptional care, and contribute to a thriving team. Compensation is negotiable and includes the potential for an MD stipend, bonus, and other variable pay programs. The practice is located in an area offering outdoor recreation, cultural experiences, and easy access to New York City. Full and part-time options are available.
