Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary medical facility that is hiring for a full-time Medical Director. The hospital sees dogs, cats, pocket pets, rabbits, and reptiles and provides comprehensive veterinary care within a collaborative and patient-focused clinical environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of Medical Director responsibilities within a busy and supportive hospital setting. The successful candidate will oversee clinical standards while delivering high-quality patient care across a varied caseload involving companion animals, pocket pets, rabbits, and reptiles. Responsibilities include supporting and leading the veterinary team, maintaining excellent medical standards, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the practice. Rotating weekends will be required when needed. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian seeking a leadership position within a collaborative and well-supported hospital environment.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, digital X-ray, ultrasound, digital dental X-ray, and an in-house laboratory, supporting efficient diagnostics and advanced patient care across a varied caseload. Facilities include Hands-Free Radiology, an in-house pharmacy, and an in-office surgical suite designed to support safe and efficient workflows throughout the hospital. The practice is committed to using fear-free techniques whenever possible, reinforcing its compassionate and patient-focused approach to veterinary medicine. Services offered include urgent care and a full scope of general practice services.

Team
The practice is home to one veterinarian supported by five support staff members within a collaborative and highly supportive clinical environment. The practice maintains a minimum 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, ensuring veterinarians are well supported in delivering high-quality patient care. The collaborative culture across the hospital encourages teamwork, communication, and shared clinical excellence, creating an environment focused on providing seamless and compassionate care to both patients and clients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
