Our client is a hospital for Cats and Dogs that is hiring a Full-Time Medical Director. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing the full scope of Veterinary Medical Director responsibilities while helping maintain high clinical standards and supporting the continued growth of the hospital. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with a minimum of 2 years of practical clinical experience who is looking to take on a leadership role within a collaborative and progressive practice environment. Specific hours are to be discussed. The practice provides access to broad continuing education programs and encourages skill diversification, allowing veterinarians to continue expanding their clinical interests and professional development within their chosen field.

Practice Details
This is an AAHA accredited hospital offering a full scope of GP services within a well-equipped and collaborative clinical environment. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including but not limited to digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, Tonopen equipment, and ultrasound, supporting efficient workflow and comprehensive patient care. Veterinarians also benefit from internal access to specialty consultations, ensuring complex cases receive expert review while helping doctors continue expanding their clinical proficiency through collaboration and shared knowledge. In addition to general veterinary services, the practice also provides laser therapy, pet acupuncture, and pet behavioral therapy services. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 7:00am to 12:00pm, and is closed on Sundays.

The hospital consists of 5 DVMs supported by a high technician-to-doctor ratio, ensuring excellent support for doctors and optimal patient care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
