Job Description

This hospital has been family owned since the 1920s and is looking for further DVM’s to join their 5 doctor, full-service veterinary clinic. Although the hospital is small animal focused at the moment, they are happy to consider applicants with other interests. They are big on support staff, so ensure that each DVM has 2.5 techs/assistants on hand to help! They work on a 30 minute appointment basis, but can accommodate 15 minutes for quick vaccines/boosters etc., whilst increasing if the patient is sick. Regarding hospital facilities: They have 5 exam rooms, ultrasound , digital x-rays, digital dental x-rays, IDEXX in house labs, cornerstone electronic medical records and much more. The hospital has a great range of cases, so can accommodate a DVM wanting a heavy surgery caseload, whilst also accommodating a DVM that doesn’t wish to get involved with surgery at all. Although a rotating weekend would be preferred, weekend working can also be minimal, so if you’re looking for a position with limited or no weekends, this is a conversation that can be had.
