Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their compassionate and collaborative team. The clinic provides high-quality veterinary care for dogs and cats, focusing on building lasting relationships with clients through trust, communication, and personalized service.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. There are no after-hours or on-call responsibilities, offering an excellent work-life balance within a full-time schedule.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care while ensuring excellent client communication and education. Daily responsibilities include performing wellness exams, diagnostics, surgical procedures, and preventive care. The role is well-suited to veterinarians who value teamwork, client connection, and compassionate medicine. Both experienced clinicians and new graduates are welcome.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment tools, including digital radiography, dental radiology, ultrasound, ECG, and Doppler blood pressure monitoring. In-house laboratory capabilities include blood panels, urinalysis, fecal testing, and snap tests for conditions such as heartworm disease and feline leukemia. The clinic performs a wide range of surgical procedures, from spay/neuter and mass removals to foreign object and bladder stone surgeries. Core services include wellness exams, dentistry, vaccinations, parasite prevention, diagnostic imaging, and comprehensive surgical care, all delivered with a gentle and individualized approach.
Team
The clinic’s team includes four DVMs supported by skilled and dedicated support staff. The environment is friendly and team-oriented, fostering collaboration, mentorship, and a genuine sense of community within the practice.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
