Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital based in Thomasville, Georgia, currently seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their compassionate and experienced team. This multi-doctor practice provides exceptional veterinary care to the local community and surrounding areas of Southern Georgia, Alabama, and Florida. The hospital is known for its collaborative culture, high medical standards, and commitment to preserving and strengthening the human-animal bond.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., remaining closed on Sundays. This position is offered on a part-time basis, providing flexibility while maintaining a structured weekday schedule. There are no regular after-hours or on-call requirements, allowing for a strong work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical and surgical care for small animals while maintaining the hospital’s reputation for compassionate, client-focused service. Daily responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, pain management, dermatology, reproduction, nutrition, and end-of-life care. This position is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, including new graduates seeking mentorship and clinical growth within an established and supportive team.

Practice Details
The hospital operates from a 9,600-square-foot facility equipped with modern veterinary technology and a full range of diagnostic and surgical capabilities. Facilities include four exam rooms, a dedicated surgical suite, digital radiography, ultrasound, and laser surgery equipment. The hospital also offers K-laser therapy, an in-house laboratory, and an online pharmacy for client convenience. As an AAHA-accredited and feline-friendly practice, the hospital adheres to the highest standards of patient care and client service. A wide range of services is offered, including behavioural medicine, dentistry, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, pain management, reproduction, nutrition, and end-of-life care.

The hospital is home to four veterinarians supported by a skilled and compassionate team of technicians and support staff. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
