Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital located in Snellville, Georgia, currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their experienced and compassionate team. This full-service small animal hospital has been proudly serving its community since 1973, providing exceptional medical, surgical, and preventive care to dogs and cats. The hospital is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate veterinary medicine with a progressive approach that combines traditional and holistic methods, including acupuncture and regenerative therapies.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is closed on weekends, offering an excellent work-life balance. This is a full-time position with no after-hours or emergency duties, allowing veterinarians to focus on patient care during regular clinic hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care, performing physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and conducting advanced procedures, including dentistry and soft tissue surgery. The role also includes client communication, education on preventive care, and developing tailored treatment plans. The hospital values collaboration and a high standard of care, making it an ideal environment for veterinarians who are passionate about both medicine and client relationships. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and growth opportunities available through a wide professional network.

Equipment includes advanced dental technology, surgical suites, and modern diagnostic tools, supporting a variety of services such as internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, endocrinology, pain management, acupuncture, regenerative medicine, behavioral therapy, spinal manipulation, laser therapy, and traditional Chinese medicine. As an AAHA-accredited practice, the hospital maintains the highest standards in patient care, safety, and clinical excellence.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
