Job Description
Introduction
Our client is an animal hospital that is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This small animal and exotics practice provides a collaborative, relationship-based approach to care and supports a wide variety of medical and surgical cases within a modern, well-equipped environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday from 8:00am to 5:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00am to 7:00pm, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm. The hospital is closed on Sundays. This position can be full or part time.
Role Description and Responsibilities
Clinical responsibilities include managing a varying caseload of small animal and exotic patients, performing surgeries and appointments during open hours, utilizing diagnostic imaging tools such as digital radiographs, ultrasound, and echocardiography, and providing care using a relationship-based approach. The role also involves collaborating with the clinical team, engaging with leadership, supporting the growth of support staff, and building strong client relationships. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.
Practice Details
The practice is committed to using modern techniques and technology within a compassionate atmosphere to ensure optimal health and well-being for dogs, cats, and exotic pets. Equipment includes digital radiography, high-quality ultrasound, echocardiography, isoflurane gas anesthesia machines, IV pumps, cardiac and pulse oximetry monitoring, suction, electrocautery, and warm water heating pads. Facilities include species-specific exam rooms, a fully equipped surgery suite, and electronic medical records. Services offered include allergies, behavioral counseling, dentistry, dermatology, emergencies, nutrition, spay and neuter, surgery, vaccinations, and wellness exams.

There are 2 DVMs and a great support team.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
