Our client is a well-established small animal hospital located in Sarasota, Florida, seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative and compassionate team. This multi-doctor practice provides care for companion animals, as well as some exotics and pocket pets, offering a diverse and engaging caseload. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, remaining closed on Sundays. The role offers a balanced schedule with no after-hours requirements, allowing for both professional fulfillment and personal time.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical and surgical care, managing a varied caseload that includes wellness, dentistry, surgery, and preventive medicine. Daily responsibilities include performing surgeries and appointments during clinic hours, collaborating closely with the medical and support teams, and engaging in strong client communication. The role also involves contributing to team development through mentorship and collaboration, while helping maintain a positive and supportive clinic culture. This position is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians who are eager to grow in a dynamic environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is a modern, two-story facility featuring six exam rooms, a dedicated surgery suite, and advanced equipment including digital body and dental radiography, ultrasound, and cold/therapy laser technology. The clinic is feline-friendly, with a quiet upstairs area specifically designed for cat boarding. Services provided include pet wellness, dental care, vaccinations, cryosurgery, and emergency services. Located just three miles from the nearest emergency facility, the hospital is well-positioned to provide comprehensive and continuous care.

Team
The practice is home to five experienced DVMs supported by a skilled and dedicated support team. The environment emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and enjoyment in day-to-day operations, fostering both professional growth and a strong sense of community within the team.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
