Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary practice that is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This small animal clinic provides a collaborative environment with a diverse medical and surgical caseload, supporting veterinarians in their professional growth while serving the Sarasota community through a relationship-based approach to care.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This position can be full or part time.
Role Description and Responsibilities
Clinical responsibilities include managing a varying caseload of surgeries and appointments during open hours, serving patients and clients with a relationship-based approach, collaborating with the clinical team and leadership, growing relationships within the community, and supporting the development of support staff through internal training. This role is open to experienced veterinarians only.

The clinic is passionate about caring for pets through every stage of life and is committed to supporting the physical and mental well-being of their patients. Equipment includes diagnostics and laboratory tools. Facilities support a wide range of services including behavioral medicine, dental care, diagnostics and laboratory, emergency pet services, end of life care, microchipping, nutritional counseling, pain management, parasite prevention and control, spay and neuter, surgery and anesthesia, vaccinations, wellness exams, wellness testing, and wound care.
Team
There are 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
