Our client is a full-service animal hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida, seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with Sundays closed. The schedule offers a healthy work-life balance with limited weekend hours and no after-hours emergencies.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care while developing strong relationships with clients. Daily duties include conducting physical examinations, performing diagnostics, and managing medical and surgical cases while ensuring patient comfort and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be professional, communicative, and compassionate, providing education on preventive care and treatment plans. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking to grow in a supportive environment focused on teamwork and quality care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
