Introduction
Our client is a newly renovated full-service veterinary practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Plainfield, IL. This hospital provides care for small animals and is looking for a veterinarian interested in practicing high-quality medicine while contributing to the growth of the practice.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with Sunday closed. The role offers flexibility for full-time or part-time hours, with no after-hours or weekend emergency requirements.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care, focusing on wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and client education. The hospital is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, including new graduates, and offers mentorship and opportunities to expand clinical skills and expertise.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with ultrasound, digital dental radiography, EMR systems, and a state-of-the-art in-house laboratory capable of complete blood counts, chemistry panels, urinalysis, and fecal analysis. Additional capabilities include digital X-ray, therapeutic laser therapy, PennHIP screening, and space for specialty services. The practice emphasizes advanced diagnostics, client education, and high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
