Our client is a progressive and community-focused animal hospital seeking a dedicated Lead Veterinarian to guide their growing team. This established practice offers a refreshed, modern facility and a strong foundation within the local community, making it an exciting opportunity for a motivated veterinarian ready to take on a leadership role. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care, emphasizing collaboration, mentorship, and high-quality medicine in a supportive, well-equipped environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The hospital is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays, allowing for an excellent work-life balance and consistent schedule.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Lead Veterinarian will oversee medical operations, ensuring high standards of care while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment. Clinical responsibilities include performing wellness and illness exams, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and preventative medicine. The role also involves mentoring associate veterinarians, collaborating with support staff, and maintaining strong client relationships through clear communication and compassionate service. This position is open to experienced veterinarians or those seeking to take the next step into leadership, offering a unique opportunity to shape both clinical practice and team culture.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
