Our client is an AAHA-accredited animal hospital based in Midlothian, Virginia, seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their passionate and collaborative team. This small animal hospital has been proudly serving the local community with high-quality, integrative, and preventative veterinary care. The hospital focuses on developing lasting relationships with clients and patients through compassionate, personalized service and progressive medicine.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is closed on weekends, offering an excellent work-life balance. Veterinarians typically work a four-day workweek, with no after-hours or on-call duties, providing flexibility and predictability in scheduling.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care to dogs and cats, focusing on wellness, preventive medicine, surgery, and dentistry. The hospital also offers complementary modalities such as acupuncture, platelet-rich plasma therapy, and traditional Chinese medicine, giving veterinarians the opportunity to practice integrative care. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with a supportive, mentorship-driven environment that encourages clinical growth and collaboration.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
