Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a well-established small animal hospital based in Maryville, Tennessee, currently seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative and experienced team. This multi-doctor practice provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for companion animals, focusing on building long-term relationships with clients and their pets. The hospital is known for its supportive, team-oriented culture and commitment to delivering exceptional veterinary care while fostering professional growth and development.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position with participation in the shared Saturday rota. There are no regular after-hours or emergency responsibilities, providing an excellent work-life balance within a consistent daytime schedule.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical, diagnostic, and surgical care to small animal patients while maintaining a relationship-based approach with clients. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, dentistry, radiology, soft tissue surgery, and therapeutic laser treatments. The role offers the opportunity to work on a varied caseload in a collaborative environment, supported by a strong team of licensed technicians and experienced doctors. This position is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, including new graduates seeking mentorship and hands-on learning opportunities.

Equipment includes ultrasound, digital radiography, and a cold therapy laser, allowing for accurate diagnostics and advanced treatment options. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
