Our client is a well-established small animal hospital located in Jacksonville, Florida, seeking a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. The hospital provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats, focusing on delivering exceptional veterinary services while maintaining a caring and family-oriented environment. This role is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who values high-quality medicine, strong client relationships, and a collaborative team culture.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, allowing for a great work-life balance with no weekend or after-hours requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care, including physical examinations, diagnostics, surgeries, and dental procedures, while fostering strong relationships with clients and educating them on preventive health care and treatment options. This position requires a veterinarian who is professional, dependable, and passionate about delivering the highest standard of care. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, collaborating with colleagues for case management, and staying current on advances in veterinary medicine through continuing education. This position is suited to a veterinarian who thrives in a team-oriented environment and enjoys building lasting client relationships.

Team

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
