Introduction
Our client is a well-established full-service animal hospital located in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their compassionate and community-focused team. Serving the local area since 1959, the hospital provides high-quality veterinary care to dogs and cats, offering a full range of medical, surgical, and dental services alongside boarding and daycare facilities. The team is dedicated to providing exceptional client service and progressive veterinary medicine while treating every patient with the same care and compassion as their own pets.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The clinic is closed on Sundays, providing a consistent schedule with no after-hours requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care to patients while maintaining strong relationships with clients through clear communication and education. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, diagnostics, and procedures, creating and presenting treatment plans, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times. The role also includes contributing to the professional development of support staff and staying current on the latest advances in veterinary medicine through continuing education. This position is ideal for a veterinarian who values teamwork, compassion, and excellence in both medicine and client care.

This full-service hospital offers a wide range of veterinary services, including wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, urgent care, and advanced medical treatments. Team

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
