Introduction
Our client is a full-service animal hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join their experienced and dedicated team. This mixed animal practice provides high-quality veterinary care to dogs, cats, and a variety of large and exotic species, including horses, cows, llamas, alpacas, goats, sheep, rabbits, and small mammals. Established in 1973, the hospital has built a strong reputation for exceptional medicine and compassionate service, fostering lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. It is closed on Sundays. The role is full-time, and while the hospital provides urgent and emergency services during business hours, after-hours emergency coverage is no longer required for large animal clients.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care across a variety of species while maintaining strong communication and trust with clients. Responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, performing diagnostic and surgical procedures, and developing treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Client education and preventative care are key aspects of the role. The position is open to experienced veterinarians who value a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies including ultrasound, radiography, tonometry, electrocardiography (EKG), and in-house laboratory capabilities. Its comprehensive facilities support a broad range of services such as wellness exams, vaccinations, dentistry, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, endocrinology, dermatology, laser therapy, and behavior therapy. Additional offerings include microchipping, nutrition counseling, pain management, and hospice care. The clinic also provides specialized services for exotic pets, pocket pets, and farm animals, emphasizing a holistic and accessible approach to veterinary medicine.

Team
The hospital’s team includes 10 DVMs supported by a skilled and compassionate group of veterinary technicians and assistants. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
