Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a long-established veterinary hospital located in Atlanta, Georgia, currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their experienced and compassionate team. Having proudly served the community for over 50 years, this full-service small animal practice provides exceptional care for dogs and cats, offering a wide range of services from wellness and preventive care to advanced surgical and dental procedures. With a strong focus on dermatology, laser therapy, and orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, the hospital combines decades of trusted experience with a modern, forward-thinking approach to veterinary medicine.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position with shared Saturday coverage and no after-hours or emergency duties, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care while fostering trusted relationships with clients and their pets. Daily duties include performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting surgeries and dental procedures, and educating clients on preventive health and nutrition. The ideal candidate will bring a collaborative spirit, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and continued education opportunities available in a supportive and well-established environment.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
