Introduction
Our client is a full-service animal hospital located in Ashburn, Virginia, seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their experienced and compassionate team. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats, offering medical, surgical, and dental services in a warm, low-stress environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or experienced DVM who values teamwork, client communication, and high-quality patient care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with Sundays closed. This is a part-time position, offering flexibility and a great work-life balance. There are no after-hours or on-call requirements, allowing veterinarians to focus on in-clinic care during regular business hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide excellent medical, surgical, and dental care while fostering trusting relationships with clients and their pets. Daily duties include performing exams, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, creating treatment plans, and educating clients on preventative health care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, strong communication skills, and a collaborative spirit. Mentorship and professional development support are available, making this a great opportunity for new graduates as well as seasoned practitioners.

Team
The hospital has a team of five veterinarians supported by a dedicated and highly skilled group of veterinary technicians, assistants, and client service staff. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
