General Practice Veterinarian (Associate Veterinarian)

Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a well-established animal hospital that provides care for cats, dogs, and exotics, and they are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This full-service GP clinic takes pride in being a leader in providing top-notch care to both traditional and exotic pets and has been serving its community with dedication and excellence for over 40 years.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 8 pm and Saturday from 8:30 am to 1 pm, remaining closed on Sundays. The doctor schedule is open to discussion, with flexibility for either full-time or part-time arrangements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a full-service general practice role with a variety of clinical responsibilities, including caring for cats, dogs, and exotic species. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering a well-rounded opportunity to practice high-quality veterinary medicine across a diverse caseload.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and well equipped to provide comprehensive medical and surgical services. With a proud history spanning over 40 years, they are dedicated to delivering excellent care to every patient—whether traditional or exotic—and fostering strong connections within their community.

Team
The hospital’s team consists of two DVMs supported by a great, well-trained support staff. The environment promotes collaboration and a shared commitment to providing the highest level of patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
