Job Description
An established animal hospital in Vernon Hills, Illinois, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine in a well-equipped facility with the support of a skilled team and a structured mentorship program for new graduates.
The hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats, focusing on wellness exams, vaccinations, and preventative medicine. Dental services include routine cleanings, extractions, and digital dental radiography. Surgical procedures range from elective surgeries such as spays and neuters to soft tissue and minor orthopedic surgeries. In-house digital radiography supports quick and accurate diagnostics, while an on-site partnership with a local internist ensures access to advanced imaging and ultrasound consultations.
This full-time position offers a structured schedule with no after-hours emergencies, as referrals are directed to nearby emergency hospitals.
