Job Description
The practice is a full-service small animal hospital, offering the best in medical, surgical, and emergency care. The hospital emphasizes wellness and preventative medicine with large case volumes in internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery. They mainly treat dogs and cats, but one of associates also treats exotics and avian patients. However, seeing exotics is not a requirement for any interested candidates. They moved into their new spacious, modern facility in 2016, which is fully equipped with a comprehensive in-house IDEXX lab (CBC, chemistry, urinalysis, SNAP tests, blood gas) and IDEXX digital cytology, which has an incredibly quick turnaround time and can be utilized 24/7. Their imaging equipment includes digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and brand-new ultrasound. Every exam room has a computer and video monitor and their largest two exam rooms have lift tables. They are fully paperless, using Cornerstone for electronic medical records. Furthermore, some of their other highly utilized equipment includes companion laser and oxygen cages, which can provide oxygen support for multiple patients at a time. Pre-op lab work, IV catheters, and pain management are required for every patient and they are closely monitored by our amazing support staff. They have a portable CO2 laser that is used in surgery and dental suites.
