General Practice Veterinarian (Veterinarian)

Job Description

This hospital is seeking a Veterinarian to join their team in Plano, Texas. They have a progressive approach to medicine fully utilizing technology, staffing and thoughtfully designed workflows allowing you to leave work on time and increase your earning potential. They practice Fear Free techniques for their patients’ comfort. Each DVM is supported by 3-4 support staff. They are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am – 6 pm. This position will work 8 or 10 hour shifts with a 1 hour lunch and breaks for catch up. Weekend shifts are rotational. They see 50% wellness and 50% common pet concerns such as allergic reactions, diarrhea or vomiting, ear infections, eye issues, fleas/ticks/mites, derm, wounds/lacerations, lethargy, loss of appetite, pain or limping, respiratory disease, toxin ingestion, and urinary issues. Each DVM is given a scheduled surgery day. Surgeries consist of soft tissue, some abdominal surgery, spay, neuter, and dental cases.
