General Practice Veterinarian (Veterinarian)

Job Description

An opportunity is available for a small animal veterinarian with an interest in emergency care to join a privately owned hospital with a dedicated team. The practice operates Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM and is open every other Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM. There is also a Thursday evening shift until 7 PM, with flexibility for additional shifts based on the candidate’s preferences. Currently, the practice is staffed by two doctors, three technicians, and one technician assistant. Appointments are generally 30 minutes, though new veterinarians may have slightly longer slots until they are comfortable. The hospital is known for its high-quality, regular medicine and is equipped with advanced technology, including ultrasound, digital dental X-ray, and in-house labs for CBC, T4, progesterone, and BNT tests. The facility features four exam rooms and uses electronic medical records for efficient practice management. The privately owned hospital, which has been building its reputation for the past decade, recently moved into a brand-new building in 2023. With a strong focus on delivering high-quality care in an affordable manner, the practice enjoys excellent client relationships and a positive standing within the community. The team is committed to maintaining a high standard of care and offers flexible scheduling options, including a manageable workload.
