Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established, AAHA-accredited small animal practice. This multi-doctor facility, located in Naperville, IL, provides care exclusively to canine and feline patients and is looking for a dedicated veterinarian to complement their experienced team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm and on Saturdays from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm, with the clinic closed on Sundays. Doctors work a set schedule with no on-call shifts, promoting a strong work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves delivering general practice veterinary care, with a clinical focus on wellness, surgery, internal medicine, and dentistry. The hospital welcomes candidates with varying levels of experience, including new graduates, and encourages veterinarians with special interests to help expand the scope of services offered.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy, electrocautery, and cold laser therapy. Additional services include orthopedic surgery, OFA X-rays, and acupuncture. The facility prides itself on offering advanced medical care within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Team
The team includes four DVMs supported by a group of experienced and well-trained technicians and support staff. The working culture is collaborative and mentoring-focused, ensuring veterinarians are well-supported in their roles.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
