Our client is a hospital seeking to hire an associate veterinarian. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in providing high-quality general practice and preventive care, with opportunities to pursue individual clinical interests.
Working Hours / Rota
The schedule for this full-time position is flexible, with an ideal arrangement of four weekdays and rotating Saturdays, although specific doctor hours remain open to discussion. This hospital is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The associate veterinarian will provide general practice care, including wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry, while fostering strong client communication and patient care. The role is open to new graduates and experienced veterinarians, with mentorship available for those seeking it.
Practice Details
The hospital features an Antech reference laboratory onsite with a clinical pathologist. Its state-of-the-art facility is equipped with multiple ultrasounds, wireless Fukuda Denshi telemetry, a 64-slice CT scanner, a 1.5 T MRI, a C-Arm with a neurovascular platform, a Maquet Servo-U ventilator with NAVA, and volumetric capnography. The hospital holds AAHA accreditation and offers specialty services including Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Avian/Exotics, Emergency & Critical Care, and Oncology.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
