Introduction
Our client is a well-established, community-focused small animal hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join its team. The clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive veterinary care for companion animals in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open on Mon, Tues & Thurs from 8am-5:30pm. Weds from 8am-2:30pm. Fri from 8am-3pm. The clinic is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The position offers flexibility with full-time opportunities available and is designed to support work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a broad range of clinical services including medical, surgical, diagnostic, and preventative care. Responsibilities include examining and treating companion animals, performing surgeries, using diagnostic equipment, interpreting results, advising clients on treatment options and preventative care, prescribing medications, providing end-of-life care, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring adherence to veterinary ethics and policies. The role is open to experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

The hospital is equipped with an in-house laboratory and radiology services, offering modern diagnostic and treatment capabilities to support comprehensive patient care. Team
The team includes one DVM supported by a skilled staff in a collaborative, mentoring-focused environment where professional growth and learning are encouraged.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
