Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing a wide variety of small animal and pocket pet services, including wellness care, dental care, pain management, geriatric care, and hospice care. They are currently hiring for a Lead Veterinarian.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, remaining closed on Sundays. Doctor hours are open to discussion, with a preference for full-time scheduling.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Lead Veterinarian will handle leadership alongside full GP duties, including surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, wellness, and urgent care. This position is open to experienced veterinarians only.

Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped and operates in a beautiful, well-maintained, and spacious facility. Medical, diagnostic, surgical, dental, and preventative healthcare are all components of their comprehensive practice.

Team
The team includes 4 DVMs, with support provided by veterinary techs and staff professionals who work closely with the doctor team to ensure each pet receives a full workup and continuum of care while at the clinic.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
