Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an established, second-generation, full-service small animal veterinary hospital that has been serving Chesterfield County, Virginia since 1968. They are currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital is known for delivering compassionate, high-quality care rooted in integrity and empathy, and provides a wide range of veterinary services to its loyal community.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This position offers a weekday-only schedule with no weekend shifts, supporting a strong work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing full-service general practice care, including wellness, prevention, surgery, and dentistry, as well as additional services such as acupuncture and laser therapy. The hospital fosters a collaborative environment where veterinarians are supported with the tools, autonomy, and mentorship they need to thrive. Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
