Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that provides comprehensive veterinary care for cats and dogs. They are currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm and on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm. The Associate Veterinarian position offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time options available. Doctor hours are open to discussion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be involved in a range of clinical responsibilities at this full-service veterinary hospital. Services include wellness and preventative medicine, dentistry, routine and advanced surgery, boarding, and urgent care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This cutting-edge hospital is fully equipped to deliver high-quality veterinary care. Available equipment includes ultrasound, EKG, therapy laser, electrocautery, tonopen, an in-house laboratory, and digital and dental X-ray. The practice provides general practice services alongside urgent care.

Team
The team includes two full-time DVMs and one regular relief veterinarian, supported by a great team committed to collaborative medicine in all cases and procedures. Doctors work in an environment where they are always fully supported.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
