Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian. Located in Brookville, OH, this small animal practice has served the local community since 2008. The hospital is seeking a compassionate veterinarian to join its collaborative and experienced team in providing high-quality, individualized care.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The position is part-time with a flexible schedule, offering a great opportunity for work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for examining patients, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, dressing wounds, performing surgeries, administering vaccinations, operating diagnostic equipment, prescribing medications, and advising pet owners on care and treatments. While experience in surgery is not required, it is a plus. The position is open to all experience levels, and candidates with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are encouraged to apply.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with modern anesthetic and monitoring technology, dental x-rays, standard x-rays, ultrasound, and four treatment areas. It offers a full range of small animal services with a focus on progressive, individualized medical care. The clinic maintains a welcoming, high-functioning environment with up-to-date diagnostic capabilities to support quality care.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
