Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a full-time Veterinarian to join a thriving small animal practice in Bloomington, Indiana. The clinic provides care for dogs, cats, and pocket pets.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The position is full-time.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for a variety of species, including dogs, cats, and pocket pets. Daily responsibilities include wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, nutrition counseling, and end-of-life care. The role offers a diverse caseload and the opportunity to practice progressive medicine in a well-equipped environment. It is open to veterinarians at any stage of their career.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with a full in-house laboratory including Istat and coagulation testing, ultrasound, digital radiography, and digital dental x-ray. The facility includes five exam rooms, two treatment areas, and a luxury surgery suite. Services provided include wellness care, dental care, surgical procedures, pet boarding, laboratory services, microchipping, nutritional counseling, end-of-life care, and an in-house pharmacy. The practice promotes a collaborative and positive culture focused on high-quality patient care.

Team
The team includes three DVMs and an experienced support staff. The environment is collaborative and mentoring-focused, with a long-standing team that fosters a friendly, positive workplace culture.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
