Our client is a thriving animal hospital located in The Villages, Florida, seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with Sundays closed. Saturday availability is preferred, and flexible scheduling options are available to support a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care, including examinations, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry, while maintaining a strong focus on communication and client education. Daily duties include assessing and diagnosing patients, performing surgeries, vaccinating against disease, prescribing medication, and advising owners on preventative health care and treatment plans. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking mentorship in a supportive, team-oriented practice.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced medical technology, including digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house blood analyzers, electronic medical records, and K-Laser therapy. Services provided include wellness care, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, urgent care, nutrition, and end-of-life care, as well as grooming and boarding facilities. The practice is known for its community involvement, serving as a teaching hospital for The Villages Charter School Job Shadowing Program. This initiative reflects the hospital’s commitment to education and connection, fostering future generations of veterinary professionals while strengthening local relationships.

Team
The practice is home to five skilled DVMs supported by a dedicated and experienced support staff. The team operates in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment where professional development, teamwork, and compassionate care are at the heart of everything they do.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
