Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital in Southern Pines, North Carolina, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their established team. The hospital provides high-quality care to dogs and cats and has proudly served its community with comprehensive veterinary services since 2018. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who values compassionate medicine, strong client relationships, and collaboration within a dedicated team environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with Sundays closed. The position is available on a full-time basis, and scheduling is structured to promote a positive work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care to patients while fostering strong client communication and trust. Duties will include performing physical examinations, developing diagnostic and treatment plans, providing surgical and dental care, and educating clients on preventative health and wellness. This position emphasizes compassionate, patient-focused care and treating every pet and client as part of the family. While experienced veterinarians are preferred, the hospital offers a collaborative culture that supports professional development and continued learning.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment facilities, including state-of-the-art imaging, laboratory equipment, and surgical suites. Services offered include wellness and preventative care, advanced diagnostics, urgent care, surgery, ophthalmology, oncology, endocrinology, and cardiology. The clinic is known for its friendly and supportive environment, strong client relationships, and high standard of medicine tailored to each patient’s needs.

Team
The practice is home to a team of seven veterinarians, supported by a highly skilled group of support staff. The culture is collaborative, supportive, and focused on ensuring both patients and clients receive exceptional care while team members enjoy a positive and professional work environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
