Introduction
Our client is a well-established companion animal hospital based in Savannah, Georgia, seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This progressive three-doctor practice has been serving the community for decades and is proud of its loyal client base, excellent support staff, and long-standing reputation for high-quality veterinary care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 6:00pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The position is part-time, offering two to three days per week with a focus on surgery. There are no after-hours or on-call requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing a full range of services, including preventive and wellness care, diagnostics, and general medicine, with an emphasis on soft tissue surgery. The role is best suited to an experienced doctor with at least one year of clinical practice, although the hospital offers a supportive environment where doctors can continue to grow their skills. Strong communication and a compassionate, team-oriented approach are essential.

Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped with digital radiology for both full body and dental, ultrasound, a complete in-house laboratory, an in-house pharmacy, and cold therapy laser. Services include wellness and preventative care, walk-in urgent care, general surgery, dentistry, grooming, medical and vacation boarding, and parasite prevention. The practice culture is welcoming, community-focused, and client-oriented, with a commitment to building long-term relationships and making every client and pet feel at home.

Team
The hospital is home to three veterinarians, supported by an outstanding and experienced team of support staff. The environment is collaborative and friendly, combining professionalism with a personable, neighborhood-clinic feel.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
