Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a progressive, state-of-the-art small animal hospital in Riverview, Florida. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established and fast-paced practice. The hospital is committed to delivering comprehensive care while maintaining a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm, and closed on Sundays. This position is part-time.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes providing general medicine, surgery, dentistry, preventative care, and client communication. Responsibilities also include performing soft-tissue surgeries, dentals, and related procedures. The position is open to either experienced veterinarians or new graduates, though prior experience and confidence with surgery and dentistry are preferred.
Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped with digital full body radiology, in-house diagnostics, and cold laser therapy. Facilities support a diverse caseload and include medical and vacation boarding as well as grooming services. Services offered include wellness care, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, parasite prevention, senior pet care, nutritional counseling, laser therapy, grooming, microchipping, and boarding.
Team
The hospital currently has 1 DVM supported by a strong and experienced support staff. The environment is collaborative, team-focused, and committed to providing high-quality veterinary care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
