Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital in Mountain City, Georgia, that is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital is well regarded for its reputation of honest and trustworthy veterinary care, always treating pets as if they were their own. This position is best suited for an experienced veterinarian looking to be part of a supportive and established practice.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Saturday from 7:30am to 1:00pm, and closed on Sundays. This position is full-time.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes delivering comprehensive veterinary services across general medicine, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, avian and exotic medicine, and emergency care. Clinical responsibilities include soft tissue procedures, spays and neuters, C-sections, ocular surgeries, wound repair, and dental surgery. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.
Practice Details
The hospital is well equipped with in-house labs, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, cold laser, and surgical lasers. Services offered include wellness care, preventative medicine, routine exams, dentistry, internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, avian and exotic pet care, surgery, emergencies, pet loss and grief support, cold laser therapy, and boarding. The practice provides a wide-ranging caseload in a supportive and compassionate environment.
Team
The hospital currently has 5 DVMs supported by a dedicated team of staff. The culture is collaborative and focused on delivering high-quality veterinary medicine while fostering long-term client relationships.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
