Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal hospital located in Florida. They are hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their practice. The hospital is well-regarded for providing high-quality veterinary care in a supportive and welcoming environment. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital opening hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:30 pm, Saturday 8:00 am – 2:00 pm with rotating hours, and closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing a wide range of veterinary services, including wellness and preventative care, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, spay and neuter, dermatology and allergy treatments, laser therapy, internal medicine, and emergency care during the day. The position requires strong clinical skills, clear client communication, and a commitment to high-quality patient care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital offers a dedicated surgery suite and is equipped to provide services such as dental care, spay and neuter, laser therapy, internal medicine, wellness and preventative care, dermatology, and emergency care. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
