Job Description
Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited animal hospital in Odessa, Florida, serving the Tampa/Odessa community. They are hiring for a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative team. This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital opening hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Wednesday and Saturday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, and closed on Sundays. This is a part-time position.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes providing a range of general practice services across medicine and surgery. Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, dental care, vaccinations, microchipping, senior care, surgery, imaging, allergies and dermatology, nutritional counselling, laser therapy, and emergency support. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

The hospital is AAHA accredited and equipped with modern technology, including digital radiographs and dental radiographs. Facilities include an on-site laboratory and resources to support preventive care, surgical services, and advanced diagnostics. The practice culture is collaborative, offering a supportive environment in a growing community with year-round great weather.

The hospital has two DVMs supported by a great team of skilled staff. The environment is collaborative, team-focused, and supportive of professional development.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
