Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital located in Oakland, California. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team and help deliver high-quality veterinary care for companion animals in a supportive and professional environment.
Hospital Hours
The hospital’s hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and closed Sunday. They are looking to add a Full Time Veterinarian to their team.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide veterinary care for cats and dogs including wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, dental procedures, general surgery, and potentially advanced care services. The role involves working collaboratively with the hospital’s team to uphold high standards of medicine, client service, and patient comfort.

The hospital offers a broad spectrum of services, including preventive care, wellness exams, dental care, diagnostics, general surgery, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, digital radiology and ultrasound. The facility emphasizes a caring, professional atmosphere with senior-level equipment and a team committed to extending pets’ healthy lives.

The hospital has six veterinarians supported by a skilled team of technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service professionals. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
