Introduction
Our client is a full-service animal hospital who are hiring an Associate Veterinarian. The hospital provides veterinary care for small animals, offering a mixture of wellness, sick, and surgical cases. The practice is AAHA-accredited and emphasizes a collaborative, team-oriented culture where veterinarians can deliver high-quality medicine.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and is closed on Sundays. The position is full-time, providing structured weekday and short Saturday coverage with no after-hours requirements.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care including preventive medicine, wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, dentistry, digital radiology, anesthesia, soft tissue surgery, spays and neuters, general surgery, health certificates, pain management, and ultrasound diagnostics. The role focuses on high-quality patient care, client education, and collaborative teamwork. It is open to veterinarians seeking a dynamic and supportive environment, with opportunities for professional development and lifelong learning.
Practice Details
The hospital features remodeled exam rooms with new lift tables, advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment including anesthesia machines, ultrasound, hands-free radiology, digital radiography, in-office surgical suite, and full diagnostics capabilities. Services offered include wellness care, adult and senior wellness, preventive medicine, dental care, general and soft tissue surgery, root canals, radiology, hospitalization, and in-office anesthesia. The facility is designed to support efficient workflow and clinical excellence.
Team
The hospital employs three DVMs supported by a skilled care team, fostering a collaborative, mentorship-focused, and supportive culture that prioritizes both professional growth and team well-being.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
