Job Description

This independently owned, exclusive small animal, hospital is looking for an additional DVM to join their practice. Although they are predominantly small animal, any doctor with an interest in exotics is more than welcome as they have the equipment at the hospital to accommodate this. This hospital has 10 DVM’s currently, 7 exam rooms with ultrasound, digital x ray and dental, in-house labs full bloodwork, and an in-house pharmacy plus much more. Each doctor is assigned a minimum 1.5 tech plus and additional 1.5 assistant, to ensure doctors are well supported. Appointment lengths are typically 20 minutes, however new patients and sick patients are around 40 minutes. This hospital is the largest practice in the area, not only physical but cliental and staff. Very collaborative environment which is willing to grow. The hospital is open to full or part time, if working full time they work on a rota basis for Saturdays which is generally only 1 in 3. Although experience is preferred, mentorship is offered via the structured mentorship programme so new grads are accepted.
