Our client is a well-established animal hospital seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats in the Louisville area, offering a strong foundation in general medicine while embracing opportunities for growth and leadership. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This role is offered on a part-time basis, with flexibility for the successful candidate to influence the hospital’s hours and operations.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing a broad range of services including preventative care, wellness exams, internal medicine, dentistry, diagnostics, surgery, and parasite prevention. There is an opportunity to tailor the clinical focus to individual professional interests, with full support for continued learning and development. The role also offers a unique chance for autonomy, creativity, and leadership in fostering a positive practice culture. This position is best suited to experienced veterinarians seeking greater independence and clinical freedom.

Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, and a dedicated surgical suite. Services include routine and advanced surgeries, dental care, diagnostic testing, vaccinations, and advanced diagnostic imaging. The practice operates out of a thoughtfully converted historic home, combining modern facilities with community heritage, and offers a supportive infrastructure to help veterinarians thrive.

Team
The hospital currently has one veterinarian supported by a dedicated team. The environment emphasizes collaboration, autonomy, and professional growth, with strong operational support to ensure success.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
