Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital based in Lancaster, California, that has been proudly serving the surrounding communities since 1975. They are currently seeking a Part Time Associate Veterinarian to join their experienced and supportive veterinary team. The hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional care for cats and dogs, with a strong focus on maintaining a positive culture and supportive work environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The position is part time, working two days per week with no nights or weekends required. Friday availability is essential. Hospital opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, and the practice is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care to cats and dogs, covering a wide spectrum of services including routine checkups, vaccinations, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. The hospital also offers emergency and geriatric care, along with support for puppies and kittens. The role is suited to a veterinarian who shares a passion for animals and a dedication to exceptional client service.

The hospital provides a comprehensive range of services in one convenient location, supported by advanced diagnostic capabilities. Equipment and services include radiography (digital X-rays), ultrasound, digital dental X-rays, bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal exams, and toxicology testing, all run through an in-house laboratory. Facilities include modern exam rooms and a full-service surgical suite. The hospital emphasizes high standards of care, ensuring pets receive thorough and reliable treatment across preventive, dental, surgical, and internal medicine disciplines.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
