Our client is a thriving veterinary hospital based in Kennesaw, Georgia, seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats as well as offering additional services such as grooming, training, and pet resort facilities. The practice has a strong reputation for compassionate care and client education, and is proud to be a long-established part of its community.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am until 5:30pm, closing for lunch between 12:00pm and 1:30pm. On Saturdays the hospital is open from 7:30am until 2:00pm, and it is closed on Sundays. This position can be full-time or part-time, with scheduling flexibility to support work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering a full range of veterinary care including wellness and preventive services, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and client communication. The hospital places a strong emphasis on low-stress handling and treating each patient as an individual. Doctors are encouraged to collaborate closely with colleagues, build strong relationships with clients, and remain up to date with emerging procedures, treatments, and technologies. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and recent graduates, with the added opportunity for career progression and future equity partnership for those interested.

Practice Details
The hospital is a large and modern facility of 11,000 square feet. This includes a 5,000 square foot full-service hospital, a 5,000 square foot pet resort, and dedicated space for continuing education for both staff and clients. Services offered include wellness care, vaccinations, surgery, in-house diagnostics, parasite prevention, microchipping, senior pet care, nutritional counseling, laser therapy, and dental care. The practice culture is focused on compassion, education, and excellence, and clients benefit from a loyal and supportive team environment.

Team
The hospital is home to four veterinarians supported by an outstanding team of veterinary support staff. The working environment is collaborative, client-focused, and strongly committed to professional development and mentorship.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
